He finds it surprising that Hakim Bashi would have made that mistake, since, even though he did not know French, he had a book containing an inventory of the old and new medicines. Including 1- a petition by Rahil to Mushir al-Dawlah, regarding the murder of her husband, Haq Nazar, a Jewish doctor in Kurdistan. She claims the murderers were hired by Ishaq, another Jewish doctor; 2- a telegraph from Muhammad Yusuf from Kurdistan to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran, regarding the murder of Haq Nazar by Fattah, son of ‘Abd al-Rahman, Ma‘ruf, and another person -- all Ottoman nationals.
